Our founder
Sofia Silva Paras is the Founder and Creative Director of SILVA PARAS. Born and raised in Mexico, she brings over 10 years of experience in the luxury fashion industry, with a unique perspective shaped by her creative sensibility and business acumen.
She studied Fashion Design at NABA in Milan, where she began her career immersed in Italy’s tradition of craftsmanship. She later moved to Paris — where she has now lived for over five years — and earned her Master’s degree in Fashion & Luxury Brand Management at Istituto Marangoni.
Her international journey is complemented by hands-on experience in some of fashion’s most renowned houses: Salvatore Ferragamo, Ermenegildo Zegna (CRM), and showroom internships at Christian Dior, Elie Saab, and Giambattista Valli.
SILVA PARAS is the natural extension of her vision: A brand designed in Paris, produced in Mexico, using European deadstock fabrics from LVMH houses — made to dress the modern woman with presence, structure, and timeless quality.
